Coat preparation is key!
- Wash 24 hours prior to clipping with shampoo and leave horse in and rugged to dry completely
- A5 blades do not hold their edge for the same amount of time a blade for a heavy duty machine will- so always carry a backup blade
- Avoid coat sprays and oils as these can adhere to your blade and cause additional friction
- Use manufacturer recommended oil and blade cleaner
- Do not disassemble your a5 blades as they are pre tensioned
